HSMAI Foundation Student Event Grant Application

Foundation Mission: The HSMAI Foundation is committed to elevating the caliber and performance of professionals in the global hospitality industry. Through this grant, we seek to support HSMAI Regions and chapters who produce events for students at hospitality schools in a manner that supports the Foundation’s mission of attracting, developing, and engaging talent in sales, marketing, and revenue management.

Grant Purpose: To provide financial assistance to HSMAI Regions and Chapters who produce events for hospitality school students that demonstrate a clear vision for enhancing professional development, industry engagement, and talent cultivation in sales, marketing, and revenue management.

Grant Eligibility: HSMAI Regions and chapters in good standing that are planning an event focusing on the development and engagement of talent in sales, marketing, and revenue management within the hospitality industry.

Grant Amount: Varies based on event scale and scope of reach. (Up to US$7,500)

Application Review process: Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis.  The HSMAI Foundation board will review each application on its merit and determine an award status and amount within sixty days of receipt of the application.
